Reserve Cup: A Fusion of Showmanship and Competition in Miami

Miami will become the epicenter of world padel from February 8th to 10th with the Reserve Cup, a new professional competition that promises to dazzle fans of this exciting sport. Presented by Richard Mille, the luxury watch brand, the competition will offer a unique spectacle featuring top players from the circuit, as well as NBA stars and sports legends.

The Reserve Cup, backed by the exclusive premium club Reserve created by Wayne Boich, guarantees an exceptional combination of entertainment and sport. Over three days, fans will enjoy thrilling matches with standout players such as Juan Lebrón, Alejandro Galán, Franco Stupaczuk, and Martín Di Nenno, competing at the luxurious Reserve Padel Miami Seaplane club for a half-million-dollar prize pool.

With two teams, Team Reserve and Team Miami, each consisting of 7 players selected in an innovative draft, led by captains Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat and Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees, the tournament introduces a revolutionary format. Teams will compete over three days in three-set matches, with the unprecedented possibility of mid-game substitutions. Points awarded to the teams will increase progressively: one on the first day, two on the second, and three on the third. The team with the most points at the end will be crowned Reserve Cup champions.

In addition to the gripping padel matches, the Reserve Cup will offer an unforgettable show with surprise activations, such as an exclusive Pro-AM tournament and a charity match featuring prominent personalities like Venus Williams and Claire Holt. Tickets, ranging in price from $20 to $750, ensure a unique experience for attendees.

For those unable to attend in person, the organization has announced a live stream of the tournament via their YouTube channel starting Thursday, February 8th, at 11:00 PM Spanish time (5:00 PM in Miami and 7:00 PM in Argentina).

With the Reserve Cup, padel solidifies its position as one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, and Miami establishes itself as one of the global capitals of this passionate sport.
